6mm punch biopsy right neck. ?Discoid lupus, ??Psoriasis, ?Lichen planus pigmentous

The acanthosis is irregular. There are no features of psoriasis. No basal cell damage, hence DLE and lichen planus pigmentosus are ruled out. I think this is lichen simplex chronicus, a common site for which is the neck.

Itchiness is an important symptom inn psoriasis. So it could be a traumatized psoriasis.

This case is of psoriasis.  The features show a psoriasiform hyperplasia with some thinning of the supra-papillary plate and surface crust. Confirmed on clinical discussion.
