A 7-year-old boy with a nodular lesion at the base of the left thumb. Rule out granuloma.

The final diagnosis is: Calcifying aponeurotic fibroma

The differential diagnoses to consider are:

Fibro-osseous pseudotumour of the digits
Soft tissue chondroma
Palmar fibromatosis
Giant cell tumour of tendon sheath
