29M, Left zygoma- Biopsy 1 year history of discoid rash on face ( mum under rheumatology for SLE). Patients also has join aches and muscles weakness. ? Discoid lupus

Lupus is my spot diagnosis, but there is an onionskin fibroinflammatory infiltrate reminiscent of granuloma faciale. Waiting for the sentence...

I think I am seeing rather more eosinophils than might be expected in DLE.  I too was wondering about granuloma faciale.  This wouldn't explain the joint aches and muscle weakness, however.
