It is my pleasure to invite you to the 19[sup]th[/sup] Congress of the Romanian Society of Laboratory Medicine, an event with international participation, which will be held from October 31[sup]st[/sup] to November 3[sup]rd[/sup], 2012, in Bucharest, in collaboration with the Romanian Society of Medical Genetics. The meeting will be held under the auspices of IFCC, EFCC, WASPaLM, BCLF, AACC and under the high patronage of the Romanian Academy, the Medical Sciences Section, and of the Romanian Academy of Medical Sciences.[/font] [img]http://www.srmlcongres.ro/userfiles/editor/images/foto%20Manole%20Cojocaru.JPG[/img]
[font=tahoma, geneva, sans-serif]The RSLM Congress is the largest annual scientific Congress, a unique forum where scientists can meet their colleagues from all around the world, exchange ideas and information.
The main Congress theme will be “Evidence Based Laboratory Medicineâ€. The research results from all around the world will be presented in plenary lectures, symposia, oral and poster presentations, workshops, dynamic and interactive educational sessions.
The pre-Congress Course, which has become a tradition for our Congress, will take place on October 31[sup]st[/sup]. The 6[sup]th[/sup] Symposium on Immunopathology will be held simultaneously with the Congress. The RSLM Congress will include the 2[sup]nd[/sup] Symposium of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring and Clinical Toxicology on November 2[sup]nd[/sup] and the 7[sup]th[/sup]Congress of Clinical Laboratory Assistants on November 3[sup]rd[/sup].
We look forward to welcoming you to the Congress and we aim to make this an exceptional event in its scientific content and organization.

Description: Join us in Las Vegas as Skin Disease Education Foundation presents the 13th Annual Las Vegas Dermatology Seminarâ„¢, nationally recognized leaders in dermatology come together to discuss and review the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of patients with dermatologic diseases. The program features key clinical topics including skin cancers, atopic dermatitis, acne, rosacea, and other important issues in medical dermatology as well as the role of active naturals and vitamin D in skin care. Despite the advances in knowledge regarding psoriasis, the pathophysiology of the disease remains poorly understood. Thus, we are pleased once again to offer the highly anticipated 9th Annual Psoriasis Forum. The highlight of the forum will be discussions around biologic therapies for the treatment of psoriasis and other skin- related diseases. This forum will be of interest to both the resident as well as the seasoned clinician.

[font=helvetica][size=2]The IFBLS Board of Directors, specifically those from Management, have been hard at work as we begin preparation for our next World Congress to be held in Berlin, Germany in 2012. The dates have been finalized. The Congress will take place [b][i]18 - 22 August 2012[/i][/b] (rather than as previously published) at the Maritim ProArte Hotel in Berlin, Germany. Please place these dates in your diary while at the same time, please periodically check the IFBLS website ([url="http://www.ifbls.org/"]www.ifbls.org[/url]) for updates on the Congress program and other related information.[/size][/font]
[font=helvetica][size=2]Our German hosts, Annette Artelt and dvta have assembled a superb organizing team. There is no doubt that through their efforts a superb scientific program will be prepared that will be attractive to all members of IFBLS. In addition, we look forward to the social and tour program for delegates and accompanying guests that will be organized highlighting the cultural, culinary and geographical features of the city of Berlin, the local province and Germany as a whole. Paragon Conventions has been contracted to serve as the PCO for the Congress.[/size][/font]
[font=helvetica][size=2]As you begin to think about making your plans to attend the 30th IFBLS World Congress, we would like you to keep in mind that it is very important to bring as many of your students to the Congress as possible. Remember today's students are tomorrow's IFBLS delegates and CDs.[/size][/font]
[font=helvetica][size=2]The Student Forum conducted during our most recent Congress in Nairobi was very productive with many important ideas and suggestions put forward for future discussion. IFBLS would like to see this momentum maintained with a well attended Student Forum in Berlin; however, this will not happen without your support.
