This 2-day conference, now in its 4[sup]th[/sup] year, is aimed at dermatologists, GPs, specialist nurses and other physicians, who wish to learn about “Ethnic Dermatologyâ€. The conference features an international cast of speakers, including Drs. Andrew F. Alexis (New York, USA), Sharon Aryiku (Nottingham, UK), Mahreen Ameen (London, UK), Ophelia E. Dadzie (London, UK), Ncoza Dlova (Durban, South Africa), Viktoria Eleftheriadou (Nottingham, UK), Khaled Ezzedine (Bordeaux, France), Camille Fitoussi (Paris, UK), Antoine Petit (Paris, UK), Saleem Taibjee (Dorset, UK), Neelam Vashi (Boston, USA) and Michèle Verschoore (Paris, France). A wide range of topics pertinent to the UK’s ethnic population will be covered, including acne & rosacea in “ethnic skinâ€, keloid disease, facial hyperpigmentation, vitiligo, pseudofolliculitis barbae, folliculitis decalvans, paediatric dermatology and cosmetic/aesthetic dermatology (laser assisted hair removal, chemical peels etc.).
