Blue naevus, hypopigmented

Operations Pathhub

Case 1044  24.6.14 (M.Hurt)  F 38  pigmented lesion nasal tip (hypopigmented variant)

Wedge-shaped intradermal melanocytic proliferation with spindle and dendritic cells.  Variable pleomorphism but no mitoses and no activity on Ki-67 or PPH3.  Adnexae not disturbed.

Case 1627  20.9.16 (U. Sundram)  F 48 back

Looked like IGD pattern, but too cellular and no mucin.  These HBN are S100-ve, Melan-A +ve, in comparison to normal naevi which are, of course, S100 +ve.
