Case 1634 29.9.16 (A. Bakshi) F 76 asymptomatic, progressive telangiectasiae, 2 y
Markedly dilated superficial dermal capillaries. I thought acquired elastotic haemangioma. This very rare condition is an idiopathic microangiopathy often diagnosed as generalised essential telangiectasiae. It is charcterised by marked hyaline thickening of the walls of the superficial vessels, which show BM reduplication on PAS staining.

Case 2856 17.6.21 (S. Taibjee) M 43 rash arms and legs.
Similar changes to 1634 (above) but better demonstrated with PAS.
Possible association with prothrombin G20210A thrombophilia.
