Case 914 19.12.13 M 44 mass on back

Rare, benign, often large tumours, usually infrascapular. Rather morphoea-like amorphous increase in collagen containing bright, eosinophilic, ropey elastic fibres. These can occasionally be beaded, but not in this example.

DD: myxoid variant of spindle cell lipoma (which may contain few or no adipocytes!)
