Case 992 11.4.14 (M. Hurt) M 34 polypoid lesion on back
Looked like an aneurysmal DF to me. Polypoid nature and collarette apparently typical.
Case 2191 1.11.18 M 10 wrist - with granular cytoplasm.
Expansile spindle cell tumour with granular cytoplasm. Unlike normal granular cell tumours this one was S100 –ve; ALK-1 +ve.
(See granular cell change.)
Case 2572 15.5.20 (R. Carr) M 65 lower leg
Interesting anatomy. Tumour surrounded by circumferential epidermal collarette. Cells are epithelioid, eosinophilic, may be sheeted or storiform. Nuclei may be atypical, enlarged and bi- or multinucleate. Inflammation and vascular dilation present.
Strongly ALK+ve – masquerading as Spitz naevus (but melanocyte markers –ve)
