Case 705   27.2.13 (H. Diwan)  F 39  ring finger soft tissue lesion 

Similar to 1075 and 2197 

 

Case 1075  6.8.14  (H. Diwan)  F 68 Achilles mass 

Spindled and stellate fibroblasts in a dense fibro-collagenous stroma.  Slit-like vessels were apparently present but not shown 

DD: desmoplastic fibroma (collagenous fibroma) 

 

Case 1275   13.5.15  (H. Diwan)  F 60 forefoot 

Bland, paucicellular fibromatous tumour 

 

Case 2197  9.11.18   (R. Carr) F 70 finger nodule 

Hypovascular and collagenous, focally myxoid tumour.  DD  desmoplastic fibroblastoma 

 

Case 2894  10.8.21 (U. Sundram)  M 45 index finger mass 

Rather more cellular than other examples.  Cracking artefact (pseudovascular space) suggestive.
