Filler reaction

Case 685  29.1.13 (P. McKee)  F 21 indurated lesion thigh 

Looked like silicone reaction to me, but PMK not sure of what was injected 

Case 753   7.5.13 (IH Chaudhry)  F 48 granulomatous lesion face 

Granulomatous reaction to hyaluronic acid.  Looks very blue and mucinous. 

Case 776   7.6.13 (R. Carr) F 41 sub-mucosal plaques, lip commisures 

Mixed filler reaction.  Blue-grey pools of HA.  Empty microspherules caused by ‘Radiesse’, which is calcium hydroxyapatite suspended in carboxymethylcellulose gel. 

Case 2495  29.1.20  (H. Diwan) F 65 lip. 

Amorphous blue material (hyaluronic acid - Restylane) in dermis.  Also shows red tattoo pigment. 

Case 4031 17.7.23 (M. Abdel-Halim) F 75 papules and nodules in the neck
