Case 463   Mar 2012 (P. McKee)  M 28 widespread haemorrhagic papules 

Associated with POEMS syndrome and multicentric Castleman’s syndrome. 

 

Case 1080  13.8.14 (H. Diwan)  M 14 forehead nodule 

Close resemblance to glomerular structure.  Rare, benign vascular proliferation, usually part of POEMS syndrome. 

DD: tufted angioma – very similar pathologically but usually arises in young infants, and clinically lesions are larger and more diffuse. 

 

Case 4271 5.6.23 (M. Abdel-Halim) M 46 red papules and nodules over face and trunk 

Classical architecture – being investigated for POEMS syndrome
