Case 2846 3.6.21 (S. Taibjee) M 93 4x3 cm purple plaque, right lower leg
I thought this was venous hypertension, but was iunaware of this entity. Diffuse, rather evenly arranged band-like capillary proliferation in somewhat hyaline, sclerotic dermis, without lobular pattern. Endothelial cells prominent, occasionally hobnail. Overlying hyperkeratosis.

Case 2912 3.9.21 (R. Carr) M 75 lower leg ? BCC
Superficial, multifocal BCC. Background changes of lichenification, reactive microvenular proliferation and loss of elastic fibres in dermis (shown by EVG). RC thinks this is a reaction pattern to varied insults such as pressure over bony prominences, after lichenoid infiltration and here in response to superficial BCC.
