Case 1230   11.3.15  (H. Diwan)  M (Hispanic) 14  warty papule oral commissure 

Irregular acanthosis; anastomosing rete ridges; hypergranulosis; mitosoid figures (not seen here). 

It is an HPV-induced epithelial hyperplasia caused by specific types of HPV other than those causing condylomas.
