Case 2326 16.5.19  F 28 painful nodule 

Encapsulated benign nerve sheath tumour: fusiform enlargement; S100+ fraction of cells; neurofilament +ve in a fraction of the cells 

Cf  Schwannoma: nodular; S100+ve all cells; neurofilament –ve.
