Hobnail haemangioma (targetoid haemosiderotic haemangioma)

Case 1071  31.7.14  (H. Diwan)  M 34 pigmented plaque thigh 

Looked like lymphangioma, but prominent endothelium and some haemosiderin 

DD: retiform haemagioendothelioma – this has complex arborizing channels not seen here. 

 

Case 1353   31.8.15 (M. Hurt)  F 38 changing papule leg 

Lymphangiectasia papillary dermis; hobnail endothelium; a little haemosiderin 

 

Case 2350  19.6.19  (H. Diwan) F 32 lesion back 

Benign vascular tumour, probably lymphatic in origin. 

Biphasic dilated vascular structures in superficial dermis with prominent endothelial cellsNarrow neoplastic vessels deeper, dissecting collagen  All CD31+ve.

Case 2575  20.5.20  (H. Diwan)  F 23 breast 

No history of RT.  No haemosiderin in this one.
