Case 1197  23.1.15 (R. Carr) F 56 back, incidental observation at end of DF excision specimen 

Subtle clonal proliferation of slightly enlarged, pale keratinocytes, similar to clear cell acanthoma.  Scattered apopototic cells.  Architecture is reticulated, with horizontal plates and overlying hyperkeratosis. 

 

Case 2000 5.2.18  (L. Yu)  M 65 forehead 

Plate-like horizontal growths of paler, plump keratinocytes.  Derived from isthmus of follicular infundibulum.
