Case 7  June 2010 (P. McKee) 

Amorphous eosinophilic granular material in upper dermis which is PAS+ve, diastase resitant.  Due to extreme photodegeneration. 

DD: amyloidosis – shows various epidermal changes, pigmentation and the usual staining reactions. 

 

Case 68   Sept 2010 (P. McKee) (juvenile colloid milium) 

Histological features would do for acute GVHD with vacuolar interface dermatitis, apoptotoic cells at all levels of epidermis including follicles and no eosinophils 

 

Case 1314   7.7.15  (U. Sundram)  F 53 tan plaque external auditory meatus 

Looked like focus of nodular amyloid but no melanophages. 

 

Case 1964  8.12.17  (R. Carr)  M 80 nodule nose unchanged 8 years 

Sclerotic pink nodule filling upper dermis.  Evidence of haemosiderin around the edge.  Amyloid stains -ve. 

DD: sclerotic fibroma; sclerotic fibroma-like DF. 

 

Case 4081 12.9.22 (M. Abdel-Halim) F 33 papules on face 

Pink deposits in dermis
