Looked just like a flat HPV wart

Odd appearance with focal area of epidermolysis with intra-corneal collection of almost naevoid-looking material with clumped keratohyalineBenign, usually solitary scrotal lesionMaybe HPV 16 related. 

 

Case 1522 25.4.16 (M. Hurt) F 47  lesion on arm 

Marked epidermolytic verrucous hyperkeratosisThis histology can be from a solitary lesion, or part of a systemic epidermal naevus syndrome.

Focal acanthotic lesion with marked hyperkeratosis, papillomatosis and epidermolysisHPV -ve

Hyperkeratotic papilloma with marked underlying epidermolytic changesNot uncommon on genitaliaConfused with viral wart, but HPV not demonstrable.

Looked like Flegel’s but epidermolytic changes
